The days leading up to the New Year are a perfect time to reminisce and reflect on the great moments of the year past. So I thought it was a good opportunity to share pictures of a weekend getaway at Puesto Viejo (Old Post), an estancia an hour outside of Buenos Aires. A perfect weekend with amazing company, good food, polo, and swimming.

Hugo Boss has a new brand ambassador. Actor Joaquin Furriel from Argentina will be the new face of the Hugo Boss fragrance line. Let's just say that we're not complaining.

Serene Environments

After I travel for long periods of time, I cherish coming back to my place and finding my things. I find pleasure not only in reconnecting with them but also come to enjoy the comfort and serenity that are instilled within them. I love the apartment above because of the clean lines and the light that bathes the room. The windows and the floor are a huge part of what make a space attractive. This clutter-free environement exudes pure elegance. 

Flowers can also make a huge difference and can add 

a touch of life and Spring when there's a blizzard outside.

Anemones and peonies are probably my favorite flowers. 

They will become intimate companions this winter.

Let the countdowns begin

I am not only referring to the countdown to Xmas or New Year's, although two weeks to Xmas and three to NYE seems a bit unreal... but this time, I am actually starting countdowns for the day I go back to work, the day my friends arrive to New York, the day I fully recover from surgery and can dance on tip-toes again... and maybe even do it while wearing 5 inch heels! In the meantime, I am inspired by the Zadig Loves Christmas! campaign. After Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl, come Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince, alias The Kills. I'm a big fan of Zadig & Voltaire and love the spirit of the brand. I've even discovered some great music through their website... Here are some images to get in the holiday spirit and rock on!
